Felder Felder Blasts Us With Edgy London Glamour
The Felder Felder show was an incredible start to this season at London Fashion Week.
The AW16 collection was ablaze with luxe metallics, jagged black lines and the electric blue Felder Felder signature. The show was total rock and roll throughout. Cool-girl models grimaced to Iggy Pop and Bowie, and served us irrepressible true London style.
The London label, run by super sexy twin designers Daniela and Annette, debuted its collection with graphic accents and a punk edge. But the message was also an environmental one, with sheer-as-f*ck trash-inspired costume, showing us what can be done with your average roll of kitchen foil and those six pack rings. Except, a bit better than that, right.
So what’s in? Fur – everyone was wearing it – and metallics. Especially silver. Black bombers, PVC, azure blue, ankle boots, collar-less jackets and going see-through. See Kimberly Garner at the David Ferreira show.
This cohesive collection is bold and beautiful. Felder Felder have reworked gossamer textures and the traditional silhouette with a strong oceanic palette. I’m well into it. The glam geometry is to die for. Total hit.
