1. What is the best meal in London- a must taste for anyone savvy to experience the foodie lifestyle scene in London?
If you are coming to London and you had one night… I would say the Electric Dinner on Portobello Road, located next to the Electric cinema. It’s part of the Soho House Group. They have the best avocado on toast, have you ever had that? It has a poached egg on it? You can combine egg with everything and it tastes great. The avocado with poached egg is really really good and not that expensive.
2. Which restaurant in London has the most wicked interior setting- and what is it about the setting that makes it different than everywhere else?
I really like interiors that are full of character and look understated but are in fact flawlessly put together. This place- L’Epicerie has a great setting, it’s also really foodie and has got that real scrapbook feel going for it. You can bring any piece of furniture into it, like an outside bench or all kinds of different things and they would fit really well. I like L’Epicerie also because it’s so eclectic and appealing to so many different people. While you can find all its objects both in a design shop and in a junkyard you can see that lot of time and attention was dedicated to make everything fit together.
